• Pirarucu is a fish native to the Amazon. Its leather is renowned for its distinctive texture and natural durability. Sourced exclusively from traceable and regulated skins, it comes from the food supply chain and is overseen by IBAMA (the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources). Processed using the L.I.V.E. (Low Impact, Vast Effect) method, this leather is organically tanned with a low environmental impact. Its naturally light base allows for rich, vibrant colors after dyeing, while preserving its unique feel.

- Rubbing is strongly discouraged in order to preserve the natural structure of the material’s scales.

- Clean the smooth leather using a soft, slightly damp cloth, making gentle movements in the direction of the scales.

- Allow the leather to dry naturally, in open air and away from any direct heat source.

- Optional: waterproof your shoes using a product suitable for the material.

- Reapply the waterproofing treatment every 3 to 6 months.
