California Proposition 65 is the name given to the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. The Prop 65 asks companies to warn Californians about the composition of their products according to a list of presumed poisonous chemicals defined by the State and is intended to assist California consumers with making informed decisions about the products they purchase and the impact on their health.
