Wipe the shoelaces with a damp cloth or a mild soapy water solution (Marseille soap or black soap) to remove dirt. For white and cream shoelaces, soak them in clear water with baking soda or white vinegar.
Place the shoelaces in a laundry net to avoid excessive friction in the washing machine. Use a low temperature to prevent the fabric from shrinking and to preserve the color.
Let dry in the open air , away from heat sources (such as sunlight or radiator), to prevent discoloration.
