VEJA opens its first store in Copenhagen
In the heart of Copenhagen, on the lively Pilestræde street, VEJA opens its first Danish store. A natural step in a city where responsible design, soft mobility, and a strong sense of community shape everyday life.
To create this 165 square meter space, VEJA collaborated with architect Nikolaj Lorentz Mentze, founder of Studio 0405, renowned for his expertise in joinery. Wood, sourced from Denmark, plays a central role in the store's design. In addition to the layout, Nikolaj Lorentz Mentze designed bespoke seating and displays.
With a ceiling height of five meters and eleven large windows, the space benefits from natural light throughout the day. Combined with beige tones, this light creates a soft and warm atmosphere – in line with hygge, the Danish art of living.
